BREAKING: Ghandi Olaoye enthroned as Soun of Ogbomoso

Kingmakers have enthroned Pastor Ghandi Olaoye as the new Soun of Ogbomoso.

Olaoye was installed on Friday, September 8, with a crowd of ecstatic natives welcoming him to the palace.

The Nation gathers that this enthronement has beaten the order as it took place before the order could be served on the parties involved.

Recall that Governor Seyi Makinde had approved the appointment of Olaoye as the Soun-elect of Ogbomoso land.

The state’s commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Matters, Hon. Olusegun Olayiwola, disclosed this on Saturday, September 2, that the announcement followed the long-drawn processes specified under the law.

Olayiwola said the exalted position had placed the monarch-elect in the position to facilitate harmony, understanding, and tolerance amongst his people.

The commissioner also urged all sons and daughters of the ancient city of Ogbomoso to work with the new monarch to consolidate the successes of his forefathers.

On his part, Governor Makinde congratulated the new Soun on his ascension to the throne of his forebears.
