The leaders and members of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) on Wednesday, continued their protest against the decisions and actions taken by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) against the party.
The party members, led by a former lawmaker, Dino Melaye were captured marching on the streets of Abuja, Nigeria’s capital city.
In a video post shared on X, Melaye who represented Kogi West Senatorial District in the Nigerian Senate said the party has just entered its fourth day of the protest.

Recall that the leaders of the party, including notable politicians like Atiku Abubakar, a former vice president; Peter Obi, the 2023 presidential candidate for the Labour Party; Rotimi Amaechi, a former minister of transport; David Mark, a former Senate president and national chairman of the ADC; and Rauf Aregbesola, a former minister of interior had taken to the INEC headquarters in Abuja to protest the derecognition of its leadership by the commission.
The leaders joined by several Nigerians accused the electoral body of partisanship and serving the ruling party under the leadership of President Bola Tinubu.
They also called for the immediate resignation of the Chairman of INEC, Joash Amupitan who the coalition party alleged is serving the interest of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
