Philip Shaibu, the deputy governor of Edo State, has pleaded with his principal, Governor Godwin Obakeki, for forgiveness over their political differences.
Shaibu made the plea during an interview with journalists in his Benin City residence on Thursday afternoon.
While pledging his support for the governor, Shaibu asked Obaseki to forgive and forget his past mistakes in the overall interest of Edo state.
