Nnamdi Kanu: IPOB hails Fr. Mbaka, Fr. Ebube Muonso

The outlawed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), has praised priests like the Spiritual Director of Adoration Ministry, Enugu, Rev. Fr. Ejike Mbaka, and Fr. Ebube Muonso of the Holy Ghost Adoration Ministry, Anambra State, who are speaking in favour of its detained leader, Nnamdi Kanu.

IPOB’s commendation was given via a press statement at the weekend by its Media and Publicity Secretary who has the pseudonym, Emma Powerful. The release was obtained by POLITICS NIGERIA.

“We wish to commend men and women of God who devoted their precious time and energy to pray for the protection of our great leader Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, who has been incarcerated in the DSS custody in Abuja since June 2021,” IPOB’s statement partly reads.

“The prayers of these men of God have turned Nigeria and its leadership into confusion since the beginning of this year 2022. We discovered that this ethnic group controlling the Federal Government of Nigeria and its security agencies are confused as a result of the intense prayers of these men of God including Rev. Fr. Ejikeme Mbaka of Adoration Ministries and Rev. Fr. Emmanuel Obimma, popularly known as Fr. Ebube Mmunso in Idemili, Anambra State.”

IPOB leader, Kanu is on trial over treasonable felony charges at the Federal High Court in Abuja.

He has been in the Department of State Services (DSS) custody since he was brought back to the country in June 2021.

IPOB claimed Kanu was a victim of extraordinary rendition.
