“No Issues” – Presidency addresses Concern over Tinubu’s Fall

The Presidency has clarified concerns over President Bola Tinubu’s brief fall while boarding a parade vehicle at the June 12 Democracy Day celebration in Abuja.

The Special Adviser to the President on Social Media, Dada Olusegun, took to social media to alleviate fears.

“Mr President missed his step while climbing into the truck at the June 12 Democracy Day celebration and tripped. It was a mild misstep. He immediately went on with the ceremonial rounds. No issues,” he said.

POLITICS NIGERIA reports that videos circulating online showed the President momentarily losing his footing while stepping into the vehicle.

The ceremony at Eagles Square is one among a roster of festivities held across the nation to commemorate the country’s annual Democracy Day celebration.

  1. Why he missed his step and fall down on democracy day simply means democracy is not existing in his own government. That Nigerians are happy at all. Is a message that he can’t continue with us that way etc
