Reno Omokri, a former media aide to Nigerian ex-president, Goodluck Jonathan, on Wednesday said the “reality” Nigerians, especially people from the Southern part of the country, must face, is the might of the North when it comes to politics.
POLITICS NIGERIA had reported that Omokri said that the northwest and northeast masses will determine the 2023 Nigerian elections.
In a fresh tweet on Tuesday night, the public commentator warned Southerners that bravado alone would not win them the 2023 presidency.
“Alas, with the comments of many Southerners, you would think they can win in 2023 based on bravado alone. Even the British tried to win the heart of the North, though they were colonial masters. It is a reality we must face as long as Nigeria remains one country,” Omokri wrote on his verified Twitter handle.
The 2023 Nigerian presidential election will be held on 25 February 2023 to elect the new president.
