Media scholar, Farooq Kperogi, has lamented that no one will hold President Muhammadu Buhari accountable “for its dereliction of its duty to secure the lives of Nigerians”.
POLITICS NIGERIA reports that Kperogi’s statement is in reaction to a fresh video of terrorists mishandling abductees.
The terrorists that attacked a train in Kaduna and kidnapped many of the travellers recently released another video of their victims.
In the new video, they were seen manhandling some of the victims and flogging them with sticks while the victims cried and pleaded for help. In fact, the outlaws threatened to kidnap President Buhari.
Reacting, Kperogi wrote on his known Facebook page: “I saw a video of terrorists savagely whacking poor, defenceless abductees in their captivity and was drained emotionally both by the suffering of the people in the video and by the knowledge that no one will hold the Buhari regime accountable for its dereliction of its duty to secure the lives of Nigerians.”
