The Supreme Court has affirmed the election of Governor Peter Mbah of Enugu State.
In a unanimous judgement delivered by a five-member panel of justices on Friday, the court dismissed an appeal filed by the Labour Party and its candidate, Chijioke Edeoga, challenging the outcome of the governorship election held on March 18, 2023.
Politics Nigeria reports that the Election Petition Tribunal and the Appeal Court had upheld the declaration of Mbah as the winner of the March 18th Governorship poll by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
