Armed Thugs have attacked the Convoy of the Presidential Candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Atiku Abubakar.
POLITICS NIGERIA learned that on Wednesday afternoon, the thugs who were carrying flags of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, threw stones and other dangerous objects at vehicles on the convoy in Maiduguri, Borno State.
As at the time of filing this report, It’s unclear if there were any casualties or Injuries.

At least 74 persons have so far been hospitalised while about 10 vehicles were vandalised
PDP Spokesperson, Dino Melaye disclosed this during the party’s rally in Maiduguri, saying that the act was to try to stop their campaign in the state by deploying thugs to attack them.
“They deployed their thugs to attack our convoys with stones, sticks, machetes as we left the Shehu’s Palace to come to the Ramat Square, all in an attempt to stop our rally.”
“But we want to assure them that nobody can stop us.”
Politics is not a do or die affairs. If you do not like somebody why not leave him alone? Will he force you to vote for him? Nigerian politics is not politics at all. It creat antogonism between the asparant. We can not contineou in this politics of hatred. Shame to that political party.

It is unfortunate for the people and government of Borno to do this, what of if Atiku won the forth coming election, this was how SAS did to Obajanjo and he won and by God’s grace Atiku will win because power is in the hand of Almighty God the Creator of universe.
Moreso there’s rumors all over the town that people are being paid expecially Keke NAPEP riders not to welcome Atiku, so in every rumors there’s a little bit elements of truth
