President Bola Tinubu has departed Abuja to Owerri to participate in the second-term inauguration of Governor Hope Uzodinma.
The event, which is expected to attract political heavyweights and business moguls, is billed for the Dan Anyiam Stadium, in Owerri.
It was learnt last night that the President will, during the visit, inaugurate some projects, including the upgraded stadium road.
The President left for the event after the celebration of the Armed Forces Remembrance Day where he laid the wreath on the tombs of some fallen soldiers.
Uzodinma of the All Progressives Congress (APC) emerged winner of the governorship election after defeating Sam Anyanwu of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) at the polls in 2023.
